Anaerobic digestion plays a crucial role producing renewable energy and dealing with waste. Anaerobic digestion has a wide range of benefits both environmentally and economically, as it turns waste into energy.

We have supported a number of projects throughout the UK in the design and construction stage to ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 as well as all Health and Safety Regulations including Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmsopheres 2002 and Control of Major Accident Hazards 2015 Regulations.  Our support has included preparation of CDM Documentation, attendance and contribution to design meetings and HAZOPs, as well as regular site visits to ensure high standards of safety during construction. 

A&N also provides retained health and safety support to a number of organisations within the AD industry. We support the day to day safety management and arrangements of the business, to ensure consistent improvements to the safety standards and culture. 

We have supported these organisations in the development of a comprehensive and compliant health and safety management systems and other documentation, and for many this has included guiding them through the process of accreditation to the BS EN ISO 45001 standard.
